News from St. Luke's

It hardly seems possible that Holy Week and Easter Sunday are past. St. Luke's offered many services & activities during that time, in addition to all our regular activities. The Holy Week Drama presented on Palm Sunday evening was well attended by an appreciative audience. We are busy planning future events and will be participating in both Hornepayne Awareness Day on May 8th and Hornepayne Spirit Day on June 23.  Planning for services at Nagagamisis Park are also underway. Everyone is welcome at our many Services & events.  Check out our calendar of events for a full list of up-coming activities.

News from St. Stephen's

The highlight of this Spring was a Mission on April 27, 28 & 29, 2012 conducted by Bishop Thomas Corston. Four teens were Confirmed on April 29th. Our Lenten Bible Study and Holy Week & Easter Services were well attended.  Now we look forward to a visit from The Rev. Canon Cliff Dee in late July and to other summer activities.  See pictures of the Confirmation on in the Photo Gallery.

News from St. Matthew-St Paul's

St. Matthew/St. Paul's has had a busy late winter & spring.  We held two very successful dinner fundraisers: a Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper and a Chili Supper with a Silent Auction in March. We were please to present a Holy Week Drama which was well received.  The women of the Ladies Coffee Circle filled plastic Easter Eggs with treats and an invitation to our Holy Week & Easter Services. The eggs were distributed in downtown Hearst on the Saturday before Palm Sunday - people were both surprised & happy to receive them. We are preparing for a busy spring and hope people will take advantage of the Labyrinth.
